The English Patient

Evening dress in white chiffon with big stole of the same fabric. Applications of floral motif organdy in the bottom of the skirt and the bottom of the stole are embroidered with silk thread white. The neckline is trimmed with a spray of flowers in ivory organdy.

Period of setting 1938.

  • L'affascinante Katherine Clifton (Kristin Scott Thomas) appare, in tutta la sua eleganza, sia che esplori il deserto in camicia bianca e stretti pantaloni color sabbia, sia che sfoggi raffinati abiti da sera ai trattenimenti danzanti della comunità inglese in Africa. Tra questi resta memorabile quello bianco, dal taglio in sbieco in voga negli anni Trenta, indossato da Katherine nella scena del primo ballo con Lazlo.
